Capabilities

Experience that moves between preservation and possibility.

Julie’s work is strongest where existing conditions, human experience, technical constraints, and new ideas have to be understood together.

01

Historic Renovation

Preserve the character that gives a place meaning while making it useful for the way people live and work now.

Julie has led historic work including a brewery-to-residence conversion and the restoration of Hotel Audubon as a bed and breakfast.

Residential + Commercial Interiors

Renovation at the scale people actually experience every day.

Julie’s background includes residential interiors, hospitality environments, corporate and educational interior renovations, test fits, finish planning, and coordination across design disciplines.

05

Landscape Design

Extend architecture into the site through planting, outdoor rooms, food production, and human-scaled landscape.

The brewery project included reuse of an existing foundation as a patio plus edible landscape elements. Additional landscape sketches and studies will be added to the portfolio.

06

Research + Development

Use architecture as a tool for testing new products, experiences, and systems before they become conventional project briefs.

Current work explores immersive historical hospitality and regenerative shelter systems integrating housing, food production, and biophilic design.
